Frances Gibbins
Rest in peace
On Monday 21st November we were deeply saddened by the passing of Frances Gibbins, wife of long-standing Mens player Joe Gibbins, sister of Women's player Olivia Turner, and friend to many. After a long battle with cancer, which her and Joe fought bravely and courageously, she passed away peacefully at home.
Frances was a hugely popular member of the club, and her warm, friendly, kind and funny personality will be missed.
Our thoughts go out to Joe, Liv and the rest of the family at this difficult time.

As you already know my stunning, hilarious, selfless, amazingly brave wife Frances Gibbins passed away on Monday 21st November. We want to lay her to body to rest, but in doing so celebrate the wonderful life of Frances.
The celebration of Frances will take place at Lancaster & Morecambe Crematorium at 12:30 on the 6th December. Please can people try and arrive around 12:00. As this is a celebration of the beautiful and amazing life of Frances, we would like all guests to wear bright colours to represent the bright light that she was in everyone’s life.
This will be followed by food and drink at Lancaster Brewery to do what Frances did best… Party.
