As you will hopefully know by now, All Stars Cricket is a brand-new 8-week initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.

Currently, we have 46 players signed up and ready to go! This is among the highest in Lancashire and we are hoping to break the 50-mark prior to the first session on Friday 19th May.

However, it is also vitally important to identify the key role that parents will play in the successful delivery of our programme. From this point of view, it is incredibly pleasing to have 16 parents offering their support to the weekly session during which the fun cricket activities and games will provide the children with the basic movement skills to begin a lifelong love of cricket and general physical activity.
